At last! All modern GPUs are available for purchase, new, for MSRP. No more crying as you pay 2x or 3x the recommended price for a card. No more heartbreak as you buy a used card that has been sitting in a crypto farm for 2 years. No more sad checking on crypto prices, hoping and praying for a crash. No, friends, that time is over!
Oh, how sweet it is, to have everything in-stock and for a normal price. With that, a large number of changes have hit the charts, so let us take a look.
HSFs:
- The Fuma 2 Rev B. is an excellent mid/high air cooler, launched earlier this year. It has been added to the mid/high tiers.
Cases:
- The HAF 700 is a beautiful, cool, expensive new case from the HAF series. The HAF stuff has always been a fan favourite, though it has never been this pricey.
CPUs:
- Intel’s i9-12900KS, a.k.a “The Furnace That Computes” has been added as an alternative CPU, with a warning.
- A few new CPUs have not been added. These include the AMD 5600/5700X/5800X3D, and the Intel 12300/12600. The price for these CPUs, compared to the competition, is not (yet) logical.
GPUs:
A large number of GPUs have been added. Some are new; some were released months ago, but the prices only became reasonable recently. All additions are:
- RX 6400
- RX 6500 XT
- RX 6600 (non XT)
- RX 6650 XT
- RX 6750 XT
- RX 6950 XT
An even larger number of cards were removed. All but two are older-gen cards.
- GTX 1650
- GTX 1660 Super
- GTX 1660 Ti
- RTX 2060
- RTX 2060 Super
- RTX 2070 Super
- RX 5600 XT
- RX 5700 XT
- RX 6600 XT
- RTX 3060
The last two cards, the RX 6600 XT and RTX 3060, are good modern cards that are still suffering from pandemic pricing. The same goes for a new card that has not been added: the RTX 3050. It is most likely that these cards are going to have their prices lowered to a more logical level soon, and they will then be added to the charts.
In Conclusion:
That is a huge number of changes, all for the better. If you need to buy a new PC, or need new PC parts, now is a great time to do it.
