World of Warcraft was the very first game for which we ever published a PC build guide. That guide, Building the Best PC for World of Warcraft, has remained our most popular PC build guide for years following its initial publication.
Now that Blizzard recently released the newest WoW expansion, Legion, we have given our build guide a major update.
Legion’s new areas have significantly more eye-candy than older areas, and characters and in-game objects are now a lot more detailed, with better textures and higher polygon counts. If turned up to maximum, the new graphical options can bring a mighty PC to its knees. That is why a lot of old guides and benchmarks that were done during Mists of Pandaria or earlier are no longer valid. The same PC that gets a full 60 FPS in Northrend might struggle to give 30 FPS in Val’sharah.
Please take a look at the newly updated guide, and let us know what you think. We have included a wealth of new knowledge regarding Legion’s settings, but the community might know more tips to help!
Your comments, suggestions, and criticism are most welcome.
