The Best of Newegg’s 2015 After-Christmas Sale

Updated December 27, 2015

The best sales until next Black Friday are here!

ASUS Z97A Motherboard

ASUS Z97A Motherboard

If there’s anything you want to upgrade or get for a friend, now is the time. We won’t see better deals on many of these until next November, especially the things that don’t see large incremental upgrades, like cases and power supplies. CPUs, graphics cards, and SSDs will likely slowly drop in price as newer better versions come out, but these prices will still be the best you are likely to see for months.

This list is our pick of the best of the 1,518 things on sale at Newegg. We’ll continue to scour the deals and add more as we find them, so check back over the next couple days. Please mention any good holiday sales you have found in the comments!

Graphics Cards

Powercolor R9 270, $90 after $20 rebate

An excellent deal on this still powerful value card. Basically the same as the newer R9 370.

MSI GTX 980, $490 after $30 rebate

This is a nice card, but the thing that makes the deal so nice is that you get a free ADATA SP550 240GB SSD, and a free copy of Rainbow Six Siege or Assassins Creed Syndicate!

ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark 2, $120 after $40 rebate

A nice Z97 LGA 1150 motherboard with USB 3.1

ASUS Z-170A, $115 After 25 rebate

A nice value budget overclocking LGA 1151 motherboard for Skylake CPUs.

ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Z170, $110 after $20 rebate

Excellent value for a powerful overclocking LGA 1151 motherboard.

MSI Z170A Gaming Krait, $135

A nice Z170 LGA 1151 motherboard. Free nice Steelseries Kinzu V3 mouse. Nice Black and white aesthetic. Be careful though, the SATA ports are poorly laid out, and will be blocked if you run two graphics cards.

Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3P, $140 after $30 rebate

A nice X99 motherboard for a good price, for high end Haswell-E CPUs.

8GB DDR3-1600, $30

It’s a brand you’ve never heard of, but that’s ok. The actual RAM chips are still made by either Micron, Samsung, or Hynix. It’s attractive too!

256GB Samsung 850 Pro SATA SSD, $130

Not a huge deal, but one of the best SSDs.

Power Supplies

Corsair CX430, $20 after $20 rebate

Solid quality for cheap. Our least expensive recommended power supply.

Corsair RM650, $60 after $20 rebate

Silent at low loads, quiet at high loads. Well build, Gold efficiency, reliable.

Cooler Master V650, $70 after $30 rebate

Quiet, reliable, efficient, Gold efficiency.

Seasonic Platinum 860W SS-860XP2, $110 after $20 rebate

Excellent quality, quiet, Platinum efficiency PSU. Good for a dual GTX 980 or similar build.

Cooler Master N200, $30 after $20 rebate

A nice micro ATX mini-tower that is very cheap. Nice clean aesthetics, good airflow, nice features for building. Cram in a 240mm radiator!

NZXT Source 210, $32 after $10 rebate

One of our favorite inexpensive cases. Clean aesthetic, good quality and features for the price.

Rosewill Legacy QT01, $70 after $10 rebate

A quiet, basic, attractive case from Rosewill. Not as polished in the fine details as competition from Fractal or Corsair, but solid.

Fractal Design Define R4 case, $70

Nice deal on an excellent quiet case, because the slightly nicer newer R5 is available now. Appealing minimalist aesthetic. Good build quality, easy to work in.

Enthoo Pro case, $80 after $10 rebate

Good deal on one of our favorite value cases. Nice clean aesthetic, good airflow, good cable management, very nice to build in.

NZXT H440, $110

A nice new case from NZXT with a clean aesthetic. Comes with good quiet fans, lots of options for cable management.

Corsair H110i GT 280mm water cooler, $110 after $10 rebate

Corsair’s excellent line of closed loop water coolers are on sale, including the H60, H80i GT, and others.

Acer One 10, $130 after $10 rebate

A convertible laptop / tablet doesn’t get much cheaper than this. 10″ 1280 x 800 touchscreen, 1.33 GHz Atom CPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD, Windows 8.1, 2.6 lbs. It will be slow, but it sure is cheap!

Dell 15.6″ Inspiron i7559, $879

This is one of the best values in a midrange gaming laptop. This isn’t a huge sale, but the laptop was a good deal to start with. One of the cheapest ways to get a GTX 960M and good latest generation CPU. It would be better with an SSD, but it at least comes with a hybrid SSHD instead of a plain old HDD. i7-6700HQ, GTX 960M, 15.6″ 1920 x 1080 screen, 8GB RAM, 1TB SSHD.

If you would rather have the same laptop with a 256GB SSD but slightly slower i5-6300HQ and save $80, get the slightly different version from our Laptop Guide.

MSI GE72 Gaming Laptop, $929

Nice deal, although the Dell is a better deal unless you want the larger screen size. 17.3″, i7-5700HQ, GTX 960M, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD.

Dell XPS 13, $1300

Upgraded version of our favorite 13.3″ Ultrabook. 13.3″ 3200 x 1800 touchscreen, i7-6500U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 2.8 lbs.

Acer 27″ 2560×1440 IPS monitor, $280

A high quality screen, although the stand is basic and not very adjustable.

ASUS 27″ 4K PB279Q, $630

Inexpensive 4K IPS monitor. Good color accuracy. Nice stand and OSD.
